November 14, 2016 LICE ALERT-Parents continue to check your child for lice daily. A new case has been reported in Mrs. Peitz's First Grade Class.

A case of lice was discovered in Mrs. Peitz's First Grade class on Monday. The students were checked and two more cases were found. A more thorough exam is needed at home by the parent. Please check your child tonight and continue daily for the next two weeks. Encourage them not to share any personal items with friends.
Prevention is easier than treatment.
Parents lice was found in Kindergarten, Mrs. Spence's classroom. Remind children not to share any personal belongings and to avoid head to head contact during play.Children should be checked daily. Hair should be parted to the scalp and in very small sections under a bright light. An itchy tingling scalp may be a sign or some people do not exhibit any symptoms.Please call the nurse for any questions.

ATTENTION ALL 5TH GRADE PARENTS
All students who will be attending 6th grade are required to receive two additional vaccines- tetanus- diphtheria -pertussis (Tdap) and the meningococcal vaccine. Students will be excluded from school in September.
